When major pharmaceutical companies wanted to educate their employees on ways to optimize packaging operations, they sent their employees to a sustainability presentation hosted by Alan Shuhaibar the president of BellatRx; an award winning packaging machinery manufacturer. Shuhaibar has been called a visionary in the area of packaging sustainability; he is a passionate entrepreneur and speaker who connects with people throughout North America by sharing his insights on ways to optimize operations by reducing waste in packaging.

Shuhaibar is frequently asked to speak at conferences and presented his holistic approach at the 2009 PMMI Packaging Operations Conference in Tampa, Florida. He joined PMMI in 2007 and currently holds a position on PMMI’s Business Intelligence Committee. As an active community leader, Shuhaibar offers job shadowing programs to local high school seniors and also teaches entrepreneurship classes at various educational institutions.

Shuhaibar received a Masters in Business Administration in 2004 from McGill University in Montreal, focusing on Operations and Marketing, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on value and process engineering from McGill in 1995.
